Home Business Lead - How to Sell Your Products Without Salespeople

Are your salespeople fighting over every single home business lead you bring in? Do they blame these leads as of why they can't sell? Do they keep coming up with lame excuses why they can't "seal the deal"? Do they keep telling you they are "about" to close the sale but have been saying the same thing for months now? You keep shedding money out, but they are not cutting it. They are not bringing in any sales. Your sales funnel is full of dead leads they have worked for months. What else can you do? I have a few online salespeople, called affiliates. It seems it works best for me when I drive my own traffic and generate my own home business leads. Now, that does not always work for everyone. Some prefer to build affiliates and spend their time nurturing them instead. Others prefer an eCommerce business model. Let's cover some options on how to sell without salespeople.

In this new economy, there are many ways to generate sales without in-house salespeople. An example is to build an entire sales force online. You don't even have to pay them until they make the sale. They are called affiliates. There are thousands of them and the best way to reach them is through affiliate specialized sites such as ClickBank for digital products, or Commission Junction for both digital and physical products.

Take a look at your business and decide which market niche produces the most profit. Create a digital version of your product. Say you clean buildings that have asbestos which causes cancer. You can write an eBook about asbestos and how it affects people who live and work around it. You can also give solutions on how to get rid of it. Then you can offer the eBook online. It can be downloaded for free. To download it, people would have to enter their name, email address and even phone number. This is a home business lead. As soon as the prospect enters this information you then contact them offering your services.

Another way to replace your sales force is to digitize your product and sell it directly online. An example would be movie videos. They best example is Blockbuster. Blockbuster offers both, a physical video you can get at the store and a digital version. Another business model is to have your products sold solely online. Customers place their online order and the product is shipped directly from the distributor. You can also use a drop ship service to get your product to your clients. Or they can order it online, and come to your store to pick it up. This is what Borders does. You can search for the book online and if they have it available, you can place an order and pick it up at the local store. You can make sure the product is available before driving to the store and you do not have to wait a couple of days for the mail to arrive. Definitively a win-win situation for your customer
