Remove Security Essentials 2010 - How to Get Rid of Security Essentials Before it Does Damage!

Security Essentials 2010 is more fake antispyware software that is taking over thousands of PCs worldwide. It's a cousin of the ever-dangerous Internet Security 2010 virus, and is installed through Trojan that purport themselves as Flash updates to watch online videos. Security Essentials is no joke, because once a virus like this one settles in to your computer, the risk of more viruses and hackers making their way to your personal, sensitive information (think bank account numbers, passwords, etc.) increases exponentially. It's urgent that we get rid of this headache right away, before the worst occurs, such as identity theft.

Once this particular spyware makes its way into your PC, you will be faced with a false virus scan every time you boot up your computer. You'll have to deal with endless pop-ups and alerts, trying to pressure you into purchasing a "full-version." Don't believe the lies, this software just wants to steal your money and make your computer hacker friendly.

You will receive false alarms such as "Your computer is infected! Windows has detected an infection of spyware! It is recommended to use special antispyware tools to prevent data loss. Windows will now download and install the most up-to-date antispyware for you. Click here to protect your computer from spyware!"

or

"Critical Warning! Critical System Warning! Your system is probably infected with a version of Trojan-Spy.HTML.Visafraud.a. This may result in website access passwords being stolen from Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Outlook etc. Click Yes to scan and remove threats. (recommended)"

How To Remove Security Essentials 2010 Easily

There are two methods of removal, there is the easier automatic method, and there is the more difficult manual method. First let's talk about the manual method. To manually remove a virus such as this one requires that you open up your PC's registry and fish out the infected entries, located in your HKEY_CURRENT_USER and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folders. These files will be labeled with words like "buy-security-essentials" and "download-software-package." For a complete list, you can follow the link to my website. You will also have to delete associated files, folders, and block system processes. The reason I do NOT recommend manual removal to most PC users is that if a single file is removed mistakenly, it can cause your system to become unstable, resulting in big technician fees.

For that reason among others, I use automatic removal tools and recommend them to clients, friends, and colleagues. Automatic removal not only seeks out all infections and cleans up a computer, but they also protect against future viruses and against threatening websites. It's a no-brainer.

Are you tired of risking your safety and security due to virus threats? Remove Security Essentials 2010 and gain your privacy back.
