Have you ever walked into a room and noticed that one of your children has become a Picasso wanna-be who has drawn all over the wall? Unless the painting is worth gold, you probably want to remove the crayon drawing so you won't have to paint over it. You can grab a toothbrush and some white vinegar to gently scrub the marks off the wall. Generally, the marks will disappear right before your eyes. Of course, test a small spot before attempting a large space.

2. Cleans Eyeglass Lenses

A cheap, effective way to clean your glasses is to rub a a drop or two of white vinegar onto the lenses. You will find that your glasses are sparkling clean in just a moment.

3. Sunburn Treatment

White or apple vinegar is especially effective in treating recent sunburn. Use a sponge or soft cloth moistened with the liquid and apply several times the same evening that you receive a sunburn. Wait until one treatment is dry before applying the next. Do this 3 or 4 times and you will be surprised at how the effects of a sunburn will be lessened the following days. This treatment is actually much better than some of the over the counter treatments you can find at the store.

4. Weed Killer

Surprisingly, white vinegar is a great natural weed killer for those who prefer not to use toxic chemicals on their lawn. Just pour some liquid on the weeds or plant growth that you wish to get rid of and watch it die in a matter of a few hours. Be sure to apply on a dry, sunny day and target only the plant growth you wish to destroy.

You can use either white or apple vinegar, but many of the natural uses are most effective when using the white version. If you're looking for a natural agent that provides many uses around the house, there is no better natural alternative than household vinegar.
